Reviving antiquity for the future of justice

Darrow is an AI-powered justice intelligence platform that helps legal professionals uncover their next big class action case. Their mission is to bring justice to the people, using AI to expose wrongdoing and empower lawyers to take action.

But while their work is serious, their brand identity didn’t reflect its weight. There was a gap between their bold, democratic vision of accessible justice and how they presented themselves. They turned to Guts Agency to craft a brand identity that’s as powerful, authoritative, and elegant as their cause – one that would position them as the vanguards of AI-driven justice.

Rebrand

Through deep research, we explored how justice has been represented visually throughout history. One key insight stood out: the architecture of justice – specifically, the classical columns of ancient Greece, the birthplace of democracy. This inspired our creative concept, The Columns of Justice, which became a visual language built on structure, strength, and timeless integrity.

Web experience

We designed darrow.ai to be the digital home for the company’s new identity. The site reflects the brand’s elegant and authoritative personality in a clean, minimalist way. Columns of Justice, which serve as the backdrop of the site, show the brand’s balance of traditional authority and cutting-edge AI.

Visual language

The graphic system we created turns scattered data into structured meaning, just like Darrow’s platform does for legal cases. A surface of data points shows raw, unstructured information scattered around the world. From there, lines flow out and connect them to form rising Greek Columns, which symbolize class action cases built from insights. This graphic system reflects how Darrow uncovers patterns and turns fragmented data into justice. For colors, we used what we call "Millionaire Beige" – a shade that radiates warmth, authority, and elegance.
